The teachers in the mural represent actual teachers in the high school at the time the mural was completed in 1934
The mural was painted by Mr. F. W. Brackett , the art instructor at the high school. It was completed in May 1934.
Muralist F.W. Bracket designed the piece to show the opportunities available to WPHS students.
The mural remains in the old West Pittston High School Building which is now the Wyoming Area Montgomery Avenue Elementary School.
